Part II Architectural Assistant & Project leader

Studio Indigo is looking for a Revit Proficient Part II to join their busy design team. Studio Indigo is a company of architects and interior designers specialising in high end residential properties (in the UK and around the world), superyachts and private aircraft. The successful applicant must be an advanced Revit user and have experience in the London High End Residential market.

Creative Responsibilities

  • Generate 3D models using Revit and Sketchup
  • Generate 2D CAD drawings, ranging from concept to tender to construction.
  • Generate construction details, lighting, electrical, joinery and interior design details
  • Generate presentation renders and visuals using Photoshop
  • pursue ideas and develop schemes through to detail design
  • Graphic design and art working to include layout of proposals and creation of mood boards
  • Create hand drawn sketches
  • Compile client presentations in InDesign and undertake client briefing
  • Be informed of any relevant creative developments within the design/architectural/Industry

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Liaise and manage principal contractor, consultants and suppliers, ensuring they build to brief, spec, expectation and deadline
  • Prepare and compile copy for proposals and presentations as required
  • Assist with writing scopes, fees, and submitting invoices
  • Working autonomously and within a team on a range of residential projects
  • Coordinating projects with consultants and other required services
  • Sourcing fee proposals for relevant consultants and trades
  • Hosting and attending meetings both internal and external, with clients, consultants and other designers / trades in attendance.
  • Attending site visits and liaising directly with the principal contractor and relevant subcontractors
  • Research into architectural products and specifications
  • Submitting Planning applications, liaising with planning advisors and attending planning committee meetings
  • Develop and coordinate statutory approval information including planning and building control compliance
  • Carry out construction stage project management duties and take the lead in contract administration duties
  • Answering RFI’s
  • Issuing interim certificates

Technical Proficiency

The successful applicant will be required to have advanced knowledge of the following software:

  • Revit
  • Sketchup
  • AutoCAD
  • Adobe Design Suite – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
