Part 3 Site-based Project Manager
Position: Full-time, Permanent, Site-based Project Manager.
Office Location: London, SW10.
Closet Station: Imperial Wharf
Working Hours: 8am – 5pm

Project Duration: 9 Months
We are currently recruiting for a Part 3, Site-based Project Manager to run the above project.
We have a strong pipeline of projects so upon successful completion you will be assigned to the next project.
You will be fully responsible for site set up, including site office, security and all Health & Safety requirements. You will be required to prepare and adjust the project programme, sequence and oversee all work. You be responsible for the project timing, quality and cost. Training will be provided.
You will be required to arrange site meetings and liaise with the various members of the project team, such as sub-contractors, the contract administrator, building control, engineers, interior designers, the health & safety inspector etc. etc.
You will be responsibility for controlling all documents on site such as drawings, RFIs, CVIs and CAIs, in accordance with the normal running of a JCT Contract.
You will ensure you have received all the design information you require in a timely fashion from the various design teams. You will be responsible for distributing these documents to the appropriate Sub-Contractors, as required.
A professional proactive approach is required to ensure the project remains on programme.
Risks to the programme are to be identified in advance and alerted to management. Extra resources are to be requested in advance, if required to avoid slippage. We work as a team and management are available at all RIBA Stages to ensure a successful project is delivered and Clients’ expectations are met.
You will prepare weekly progress reports which will be issued to the Client or Client Representatives.
You will be managing the packages to ensure the highest level of quality is achieved and to ensure drawings and installations comply with CDM, current building regulations and British Standards.
A good understanding of structural design, foundations and basement construction would be very beneficial.
Meticulous organisational skills, foresight, pride in the detail and a good eye for quality is required for this position.
You will be placing orders and co-ordinating deliveries, negotiating quotes, all the time ensuring that the projected project profits are achieved.
The role will involve preparing the Construction Phase Plan and being responsible for site inductions, and monitoring of ongoing Health & Safety throughout the duration of the project. Full training will be provided.
The role will also involve the preparation of O and M Manuals, to be issued to the Client at the end of the project.
The role would suit a Part III Architect looking to gain valuable site experience, with a view to being able to run a job from start to finish.
An understanding of JCT Contract procedures would be advantageous.
