Experienced Part II Architectural Assistant/Architectural Technologist
With an increasing number of exciting and diverse projects this award winning, medium sized architectural firm are seeking an experienced Part II or Architectural Technologist to join their team in Surrey.
The company is award winning, with 2 offices in the UK. They have a diverse range of current projects including masterplanning, new builds, extensions and refurbs to existing high-end residential properties as well as commercial and public buildings.
Role & Responsibilities
Your role will see you working closely with one of the Directors to manage and deliver multiple projects from initial conception through to practical completion. You will be required to produce construction and technical drawing packages for a variety of different projects.
The role will require travel to site and visits to their other office; the costs of which would be covered by the company.
This position is well suited to an experienced Architectural Technologist or technically strong Part II who has the interest and experience to work on construction drawing packages before completing their Part III.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 4 years industry experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Demonstrate strong design skills and sound technical knowledge, with an emphasis on excellent technical and detailing ability
- Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
- The ability to carry out NBS specifications or equivalent to a high standard
- Confident in managing a diverse workload with minimal supervision
Please note that a full UK driving and your own transport is vital to this role.
Salary & Package
Salary will be negotiated based on your skills and experience, but will be within the range of £30,000 - £40,000. Flexible working hours are available and continued professional development is encouraged. There will be genuine opportunities in your future at the firm to progress in your career.
