This is leading UK building and civil engineering company is currently looking for a Principle Architect to join their Hertfordshire office! They combine outstanding technical expertise with the personal touch that comes with being a family-owned company.
A Principle Architect is required to lead architectural teams within the company. This is an exciting opportunity for a Principle Architect, you will be ensuring the effective day to day running of the design team on mixed use developments. The Principle Architects overall responsibility will be to manage the design processes to ensure timely delivery of designs. They will need to have experience coordinating with on site engineers, contractors and construction teams.
The ideal candidate will need to have strong technical experience, predominantly within the construction stages of a project (Stage 4 onwards). You must be able to manage packages, review drawings and liaise with internal and external teams. Principle Architect Position Overview
- Leading team of Architectural Assistants, Technicians and Architects
- High proficiency in Revit
- Develop design concepts and execute technical packages
- Manage technical processes to ensure timely delivery of task
- Meeting new and existing clients
- Dealing with internal and external consultants
- Degree qualified Architect with minimum 10 years experience
- Good UK experience
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Previous experience of leading a team
- Good client facing experience
- Microsoft Office
