ABOUT THE COMPANY

Endless Design is the in-house architectural, interior and creative division of a large multidiscipline group whose activity’s covers a diverse number of business sectors, including residential property development, holiday parks, commercial property development, retail and mixed use development together with various leisure sectors including; bars, gastro pubs, clubs and restaurants.

Due to its ever-expanding portfolio of projects and work levels Endless Design has set up a new design studio within one of its live projects at 13 Quay Street, Manchester, which has been fully renovated to create one of the most vibrant by office spaces in Manchester.

Endless Design is unique it that it has a self-supporting 10 year stream of exciting & diverse projects. This is a great opportunity to join their new team in Manchester.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidate for the role of Architect will ideally be both ARB and RIBA qualified and have a minimum of 3 years’ post Part III experience ideally working on a variety of different projects within different sectors.

The candidate should be driven, enthusiastic, have an extensive knowledge of local and national planning policy. The chosen Architect should be able to assist in the management of the design teams workload and be capable of monitoring the progress of all statutory approvals.

The job role will cover everything from sketch design development, planning permission, building regulations, working drawings and on-site design management.

The candidate will need to able to manage multiple projects, complete drawing packs and ensure the design team hits the designated deadlines.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Sound knowledge of contracts and administration processes
  • Up to date knowledge of current planning policies including permitted development rights
  • Working knowledge of the UK building regulations
  • Good project running skills (proven track record) and time management
  • AutoCAD proficient
  • Knowledge/experience of Sketch-Up Pro
  • Knowledge/experience of Photoshop
  • Knowledge/experience of InDesign
