Interior Designer - Residential Showrooms

Location: Dorking

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Our client is a vibrant consultancy on the lookout for a migweight Interior Designer with residential showroom design experience for their busy office in Dorking. Operating across both public, and private sectors nationally, offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is passionate, and ambitious in their career. This consultancy is renowned for high innovation, and excellent value solutions putting the client at the forefront of design quality, and sustainability development. The right candidate will be an excellent team player, with a strong personal sense of responsibility for the provision of Interior Design services that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities for this Interior Designer with Revit role are:

  • Prepare feasibility studies, sketch proposals, scheme, and detailed design information.
  • Produce drawings, and specifications, tendering documentation, and provide management services in relation to interior design projects.
  • Procurement furniture, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients
  • Ensure compliance with standing orders, Codes of Practice, and relevant legislation.
  • Promote sustainable design.
  • Deliver creative, innovative, and affordable proposals that meet client expectations.
  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities.
  • Fee earning at 90%, and contribute to the achievement of business plan objectives, and targets.
  • Frequent travel to other offices
  • Demonstrate personal commitment to the Norse Way CSR strategy.

Qualifications required for this Interior Designer role are:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an Interior Design relation discipline.
  • Current Site Card
  • Professional membership of a related institute
  • Full clean driver's license
  • Proficient in the use of Vectorworks
  • Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation, and risks and hazards associated with asbestos.
