Business Intelligence Applications Analyst
Be part of the vision; be part of the RIBA.
The RIBA is a global professional membership body, and a cultural organisation, driving excellence in architecture.
Salary: Up to £37,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Permanent, 35 hours (occasional out of hours)
The RIBA is undergoing an ambitious digital transformation programme, which is transforming its online services, use of data and technical infrastructure. You’ll be part of a new Business Intelligence and Applications team that will change the way the RIBA uses data.
Working with our Project Management Office, your team will develop the vision for, and oversee the planning and implementation of a new CRM system. This will allow the RIBA to replace legacy systems, provide greater insight around our member engagement, deliver personalised online services, and deliver valuable business information.
To help shape that project, you will be documenting and mapping the RIBA’s data and database systems and looking at ways these need to be connected, de-duplicated and streamlined. You’ll have first class technical skills focused around Microsoft applications – especially around SQL, data analysis and manipulation, performing software upgrades and connecting data stores via APIs and other means.
Equally importantly, you will have strong people skills. You’ll be part of a virtual ‘live services’ team fielding support requests from staff using database applications such as OpenEngage, Adestra, Power BI and Tableau. You’ll need to communicate clearly with non-technical staff to resolve issues, and provide accessible and engaging training and documentation.
