Jonathan Lees Architects LLP is currently in the process of expanding the practice to accommodate an ever-growing project portfolio. The Practice specialises in traditional, Classical and Vernacular Architecture with particular emphasis on the Arts and Crafts movement. Projects are undertaken throughout the UK and are largely focused on one off large scale domestic builds and works to listed buildings. The practice has a large number of projects at sketch scheme, planning, working drawing stages together with projects that are presently on site, together with international projects.

The Practice is presently looking for a full time Project Architect to run domestic projects in the UK from sketch scheme through to Contract Administration. The appointment will include working with the existing team of designers and Technologists / Technicians to achieve the ambitions of the Practice. Knowledge of AutoCad and Sketch up are essential. A minimum of 5 years post Part III experience is also essential together with proven experience of running JCT Intermediate and Standard Building Contracts. The applicant should have a sound knowledge of construction and the production of working drawings. The applicant should also have an interest in Classical Architecture and the Architecture of the Arts and Crafts movement. An ability to hand-draw is desirable although not essential.

The Practice is looking to expand its young, vibrant and talented team with a permanent appointment to further its exciting portfolio of projects. A competitive salary will be offered and based on the experience and expertise of the applicant.
