About the Role
We are looking for a Principal / Associate Aviation Architect to work alongside the Team Director taking responsibility for the management of a team of Graduates & Technicians. Based in either our Newark or London office, as the lead designer you will be responsible for the management of a variety of projects and be the main point of contact for clients and other stakeholders on a day to day basis. This exciting role is responsible for the delivery of technical design solutions to achieve project deadlines and will require attendance at project and site meetings across the UK.
You will be a Chartered Architect ARB, RIBA with minimum 3 years post chartered experience with demonstrable experience in the aviation sector which is essential. A self-starter, you will have plenty of initiative and have developed strong commercial and contractual awareness. You will also possess excellent communication skills and evidence good time management. A track record of managing your own projects is essential along with the ability to develop good working relationships with both existing and new clients. A sound knowledge of Airport Standards, the Building Regulations and a good working knowledge of Revit software is preferable but not essential.
