The opportunity to work with a forward thinking practice with a healthy range of residential based projects for an ambitious Architect to readily get involved in.

My client is a design-focused practice based in Harrogate and Leeds specialising in high-quality, sustainable residential buildings. The company is comprised of Chartered Architects, Architectural Technologists and Quantity Surveyors and draws on over 50 years of experience. The team are creative, forward-thinking and keen to deliver innovative solutions, from conceptual design through to completion.

The practice works for a range of domestic clients and developers, both locally and nationally and has substantial experience in designing high quality schemes in rural, semi-rural and conservation areas in North Yorkshire. Currently, they are working across a number of high-end residential schemes and luxury apartments across North Yorkshire.

Role & Responsibilities

The practice is currently seeking an experienced Architect to join their dynamic City Centre office in Leeds, to work on an exciting portfolio of residential projects across Yorkshire.

Responsibilities will include;

•Production of working details for residential schemes, to comply with all current regulations and legislation •Ability to run projects from inception to completion •Ensure compliance with warranty providers •Working closely with team/client throughout the process •Attend site meetings as necessary to deal with contractor queries and help to ensure a high-quality build is delivered

Required Skills & Experience

•Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience •Residential/house building experience •Good knowledge of producing working drawings to comply with current building regulations •Good understanding of Revit •Well organised, good communicator, self-motivated and team player •Own a car

Salary & Package

This position if offering a very competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience, alongside health insurance and generous holiday allowance.
