A new opportunity to join a small Architectural practice with big plans and projects. This role is for those looking to learn and develop working on projects on the cutting edge of sustainability. You will need critical thinking, creative skills and most importantly a passion for Architecture and sustainability. If that's you then read on.

The business is newly established by a Director who has previously founded a top London practice, and is now following his passion for sustainable design with this new business. The philosophy of the business is to fuse traditional building techniques, local building materials and local craftsmanship with cutting edge design and technology.

Due to the winning of some major projects they are looking for a talented Part II Architectural assistant to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

This role would be a combination of architectural design, while also carrying out a large amount of research work into building techniques both traditional and new. They also focus working on new technologies in the design and development of all their projects. Their current workload will also involve working on designs for a major UK housing development, incorporating some industry leading sustainably techniques and technologies.

The role would involve working on a diverse range of projects from listed buildings to new build homes and offices, but with a focus on sustainability.
You would work under the supervision of the Director or Senior Architect.

Required Skills & Experience

Part II Qualified
Skilled with the production of 3D Imagery Self-motivated with a passion for sustainability projects Have an excellent design ability demonstrated in their portfolio Due the rural location of the office you would need to have your own transport. Background in using Vectorworks is advantageous but training will be given.

Salary & Package

The role would offer a salary of £24,000 to £28,000 depending on experience; and offers 33 days holiday a year, including bank holidays.

Located in a stunning newly converted stable based in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, the office operates a working day of 9.00am to 5.00pm. The office has an onsite shower room and access to a gym and swimming pool based in the office grounds.
