Offering a chance for an Architectural Technician or a Technical focused Architect to take the lead role of the technical team for a well-respected and successful practice in Hampshire. My client has won multiple UK housing awards and prides itself in providing their clients with a personal service, where they provide professional expertise through a variety of resources. Due to continued success the practice now requires a Technical manager to join their social and friendly team. They currently employ 20 people staff who work across a range of project types, including medium- scale residential developments and one-off houses, retirement living, commercial and conservation. In recent years the practice has taken a proactive view in the implementation of Revit and BIM within the business. The office is located close to the border of Dorset and Hampshire.

Role & Responsibilities

You would divide your time between working on your own projects and managing the members of the technical team. Production of technical drawings Organise the delegation of work to Technicians Managing delegated projects in respect of timescales, client liaison and dealing with internal queries Working closely with clients and external contractors.
Ensure all drawings meet the required standards and client specifications

Required Skills & Experience

Experience of working on UK residential projects Background of working on larger scale projects from 7millon pounds upwards You would work directly with clients so having excellent communication skills are vital. Experience in Revit would be advantages Have a minimum of 5 years UK experience Experience leading teams and projects

Salary & Package

This role offers a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience.
