John Fleming Architects (www.jfa.ie), a leading commercial architectural practice based in central Dublin, has a strong track record primarily focused on multi-unit residential, commercial, hospitality/leisure and retail projects. In this period of rapid growth and with a significant number of exciting new projects currently underway and many more in the pipeline, we are growing our current team structures by recruiting across a range of experience levels and skills. Our culture is dynamic and team-oriented with a flat organisational structure and our values emphasise strong client service through both good architectural design and project delivery to the highest industry standards. Working at the forefront of successful commercial architecture in Ireland, we have an environment where we ensure that people’s skills and competencies are acknowledged and are constantly evolving through a diversity of job experiences and excellent career development opportunities. We use Revit, AutoCad, Sketchup, Photoshop and Indesign.

We are seeking:

  • Project Architects, who will lead project teams in designing and delivering medium to large multi-unit residential, hotel and other similar scale projects.  You will liaise with a range of Irish and international clients to clarify briefs, needs and budgets; present designs to clients; meet with planning departments and other project consultants.  Ideally you will have 6 years work experience (with 3 being post professional practice examination), good knowledge of Irish regulations and architectural norms, and well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Architectural Technologists, who will be involved in preparation and development of planning, tender and construction drawings. You will have 2-10 years’ work experience, ideally in multi-unit residential projects, a strong knowledge of Irish Planning and Building Control regulations, and will be proactive in keeping abreast of new technology developments and industry regulations

We are happy to answer general inquiries you may have in advance of applying. Please feel free to contact us in confidence for an exploratory discussion. If you are currently based abroad we will be facilitating telephone-based interviews in the early stage of the recruitment process.
