Entrepreneurial, award winning house builder in Kent has a rare opportunity in a new position for the business for a Senior Architect or Architect to join it's team.
The company is known for designing and building high profile homes in desirable locations across Kent and Sussex which will vary in size from one off houses to small developments of around 15 in size. Each project is different from the last and many of these properties will sell quickly off plan before work has even started on site which is a testament to the popularity.
You will be an outgoing individual who is passionate about their work and takes pride in their own work. You will run and oversee all architectural and technical aspects of these projects and will take lead will have full responsibility to draw, manage and delivery architectural and joinery packages from conception through to on-site construction and handover. You will support the Project Manager to successfully manage clients, consultant teams and suppliers/sub-contractors.
You will need to be able to work calmly under pressure adhering to tight deadlines and budgets as well as having an all round positive attitude and enjoy the work you do! This is a rare opportunity to work with a small team of like-minded individuals who feel more like a team over just colleagues. It would be perfect for an Architect looking to take the step up or simply wants to make the move over from architectural practice in to a client side role with a design led house builder.
As the projects are all residential based, it's important that you will have strong residential based experience.
Key Requirements;
- Degree qualified in Architecture
- MUST have residential based experience, preferably on design led, small scale housing.
- Be calm under pressure and able to deal with tight deadlines.
- Be an outgoing individual who enjoys your work and takes full pride in what you do.
- Experience working on UK projects and full knowledge of current building regulations.
