Senior Architectural Technician (Revit Literate)
An immediate vacancy has arisen for a Senior Architectural Technician with strong Revit skills to join an AJTop 100 and highly successful practice to work on a number of construction projects in their highly social and professional Newport Pagnell office, close to Milton Keynes.
With over 150 staff and offices in Wakefield, Milton Keynes, Manchester and Reading, the Company works with long standing clients throughout the British Isles, with particular expertise in the commercial sector. Other sector experience includes work on a number of retail, mixed use and residential projects.
With such an eclectic portfolio of projects, the practice is used to working with developers, public bodies and commercial professionals in the development of attractive cost effective and innovative design solutions. It provides services in; site appraisals, master planning, architectural and interior design, space planning, design and graphics, perspectives, computer aided design, visualisation and also excellent project management.
Due to an increase in work load our client is now looking to recruit an Architectural Technician to join their team in the Newport Pagnell office.
Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a high level of accuracy with technical detailing and using Autocad. You will be working as part of a team on retail and commercial projects at various stages, alongside managing projects and junior staff.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ UK experience
- HNC /ONC or equivalent architectural qualification.
- Good understanding of current UK legislation.
- Proficiency in AutoCad with the ability to produce working drawings to a good standard.
- Revit knowledge (beneficial) but not essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work under your own initiative.
- A strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail.
Salary & Package
The work is diverse and rewarding and in return they offer a secure future and competitive salary, between £38,000 – £45,000 depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be working in the busy Newport Pagnell office within one of the design teams. The company support employee endeavours including out of work activities alongside community engagement through charity and fundraising events.
