Angus Meek Architects are looking to recruit a permanent, full-time, recently qualified Architect to join our small, fast-paced and friendly office. We are a long established practice located in Bishopston, Bristol with a current portfolio of a wide range of projects in the residential and commercial sectors including student accommodation, open market & affordable housing and apartment schemes, offices, listed buildings and leisure facilities. 

The successful candidate will take on a Job Architect role under the supervision of one of the Directors and will lead the production of drawings and information for multiple projects from feasibility and planning through to construction on site. This position would suit a person looking to progress and expand their architectural experience, with fantastic opportunities to assist with the coordination of projects and deal directly with clients, other project consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers, and visit sites during construction.  

Required skills and experience

- excellent knowledge of Revit and Autocad
- experience with leading planning applications and strong knowledge of Building Regulations
- positive and pro-active in nature with excellent communication skills
- ability to work on multiple projects and to tight deadlines
- fluent in English language
- driving license and own car would be of benefit for meetings and site visits
