Highly lucrative position for a forward-thinking Project Architect to join an internationally renowned architectural firm based on site in Woking. The practice are one of the leading architectural firms in the UK and will provide you with exposure to exceptional projects throughout a variety of sectors, both in the UK and internationally.
As an experienced Project Architect, you will take the lead on a major mixed-used development encompassing 3 high-rise structures set for completion in 2022. As such you will bring with you a wealth of site-based experience on complex, mixed-use projects including residential and retail.
*Provide site monitoring, co-ordination and liaison with the client, contractors and consultants.
*Attend weekly, monthly and other technical / progress meetings held at the site as required.
*Review the contractor's progress, identify constraints and recommend corrective measures.
*Carry out regular site inspections and monitor the works for architectural information.
*Inspect contractor works according to technical specifications, benchmarks and quality standards.
*Manage snagging and de-snagging lists, maintain logs and tracking report.
*Review and respond to contractor request for information or clarification.
*Coordinate and evaluate of all consultant RFI responses.
*Review architectural documents for co-ordination with all disciplines.
*Review submittals of shop drawings, materials, mock-ups and construction details.
*Verify that submittals and site works are per specifications and standards.
*Propose solutions and details that help to solve technical issues where required in conjunction with the Architectural team.
The ideal Architect will be able to demonstrate the following:
*A minimum of 2 years' post Part III experience.
*Experience running projects and delivering on-site.
*Project experience across all RIBA work stages.
*Proven UK project experience preferably in the relevant sectors described above.
*A good working knowledge of Revit/BIM as well as AutoCAD, the Adobe suites & SketchUp.
*Excellent communication skills (both written & spoken English).
A highly attractive salary and benefits package would be on offer to the successful applicant, likely to be in the range of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum dependant on experience.
