Revit Skilled Architectural Technician
This successful practice is looking for a talented Architectural Technician to join as a driving force for BIM related projects and assist on a developing pipeline of work.
The practice, established for over 70 years, based in Lichfeld, enjoys an established reputation for its design work which encompasses all sectors of construction. Their specialism within Heritage, Conservation and Ecclesiastical sectors has been a key factor to their continued success. They are proud to provide a high quality, professional service to both private and public clientele including a number of notable clients; JCB, The National Trust, Asda, as well as various Local Authorities, regional and national Developers. The practice is committed to providing innovative and sustainable solutions which enhance the built environment whilst benefiting the user and the wider community, and has experience working across all sectors of the construction industry throughout the UK. Sectors include Commercial - Industrial - Residential - Education - Retail - Healthcare - Leisure - Urban Planning - Heritage, Conservation and Ecclesiastical. Additional in house services include Interior Design, and Principal Designers.
Role & Responsibilities
This role will see you work at all stages within the design and construction process from inception through to completion. Previous experience on projects including feasibility studies, master planning, detailed design, project management and contract administration would be beneficial.
The practice has recently invested in the latest Revit software to allow them to undertake and collaborate on BIM (Building Information Modelling) projects, therefore experience using Revit or BIM software would be highly advantageous. They have a number of exciting projects progressing towards Developed design and Technical Design stages and require an experienced Architectural Technician to assist.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working on residential and commercial projects
- Highly proficient in the use of Revit or experience in BIM
- Able to produce high quality technical drawings without supervision
- Good knowledge and understanding of UK construction and Building regulations
- On site construction experience would be benefit, but not essential.
- 3D capability and technical knowledge is an essential.
- Able to run jobs on site
Salary & Package
The successful applicant will be offered a salary between £30,000 - £45,000, depending on experience and a company pension scheme.
