A bit about seven
seven architecture was established in 2006 and has steadily expanded to now employ 25 professional staff across 4 design studios in Manchester, Harrogate, London and Caernarfon. It is an enjoyable place to work, focused on designing places to be enjoyed.
The practice supports and develops its staff to deliver design excellence and outstanding client service. Over the first 12 years a varied and exciting portfolio has been established, covering a wide range of public and private sector commissions from £100k to £50m in construction value.
Particular areas of expertise have been developed in the design of effective education environments; creating value from Listed Buildings and the integration of a sustainable design approach.
A predominant theme across the practice’s portfolio is the delivery of projects which are often unique; challenging in nature; phased and on constrained sites. An increasing number also involve Heritage Assets. These are commissions where the practice offers value to its clients through the particular expertise, experience and enthusiasm of its team.
The practice is a place where people care about creating good buildings; a place where creativity and intelligence is valued and invested in wisely and one which clients engage with as a result of the outstanding, collaborative and personal service they receive.
Our mission is to improve lives, inspire learning and enrich our heritage.
