A design led Architectural practice based in the Oxfordshire countryside is looking for an Architectural Technician who is looking to be part of a small friendly but growing practice.
This position would see you taking an important role in project management, being rewarded with great opportunities for career progression.
The practices directors, split between two office locations in Oxford and Derby, use their extensive experience and knowledge to create a supportive business atmosphere which finds creative ways to produce the clients design and vision.
They work mainly in the high-end residential sector but have recently started making an impact in the education and commercial sectors with projects from £300,000 to £10 million.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to employ a Chartered Architectural Technologist who is looking for long-term career development and growth.
Role & Responsibilities
The Role would focus working mainly on Riba stage 4 but with a busy portfolio of projects you will have the opportunity to work on other stages and manage projects.
Required Skills & Experience
Chartered Architectural Technician
3 years minimum experience
Ability to work autonomously
Client facing experience
Experience of ArchiCAD is highly beneficial but full training will be given
Background in the use of BIM preferred
Outgoing and optimistic personality essential
Salary & Package
The role would offer a salary of Between £32,000 – £40,000 dependant on experience.
The office is located in a small village location in Oxfordshire. The office benefits from free on site parking and the team prides itself on its close knit team atmosphere. The two offices get together 3 or 4 times a year be it company wide training schemes or social events.
This Christmas the practice organised the team to visit a well-known castle and enjoy a full medieval banquet.
