TIA LTD has a vacancy for an Architectural Technologist to join their successful and growing team. This role will be based in their offices in Surrey, West Horsley.

It is essential that you are able to be versatile with the workload handed to you as each day promises to be varied, exciting and different. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be an integral part of the Technical team producing working drawing packages. We would also like you to produce layout drawings, and support in design and planning. You will be reporting to the Design Director. 

The Person

To fulfil the requirements of the position of Architectural Technologist, it is essential meet the following criteria;

  • UK or UE Passports only
  • experience with at least 1 year in a UK studio
  • literacy requirements: AutoCAD, SketchUp
  • excellent communication skills, fluent in English
  • High proficiency in producing UK Building Regulation and Working Drawings
  • well organized and assertive with a down to earth, can-do attitude
  • a quick thinking, practical problem solver
  • an ability to multi-task/ be involved in several projects at once
  • an understanding of construction and design and able to design residential details
  • happy to work in a small office of three plus
  • prepare surveys
  • Knowledge & experience of the UK planning process
  • own car and drivers licence an advantage
