Thank you for your interest in the post of National Investment Plan Co-ordinator for Conservation with Historic Environment Scotland, based at Longmore House, Edinburgh.  This is a permanent and pensionable appointment.

The post will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of conservation and maintenance projects within the HES Investment Plan at the Properties in the Care of Scottish Ministers. This will include development, project management and delivery of the HES investment plan projects in our conservation, visitor facing facilities, site infrastructure, M&E installations, Climate Change and carbon reduction programmes. 

Duties will also involve assisting the Head of Estates with strategic development opportunities and the promotion of the work of the Conservation Directorate within the heritage sector. The post will be part of the multidisciplinary team of professional and technical staff based in the Estates team in the Conservation Directorate in Edinburgh.
