We are currently looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist ideally with a minimum of 6 years relevant UK experience, to join our small but busy practice in Stevenage Old Town.

The successful candidate will assist our busy, friendly team on all stages of construction across a range of sectors.

The practice prides itself on being very hands on with the Directors working closely with their staff and clients.   We offer a complete architectural service from feasibility, concept and planning, to building control, interior design and project management. We work closely with a network of professionals such as Planning Supervisors and Structural Engineers

Requirements:

A degree/HND/HNC or equivalent architectural/construction related qualification;
High proficiency in AutoCAD;
Ability to produce working drawings and technical detailing to a high standard including production and coordination of all project drawings and information;
An excellent working knowledge of the current UK Building Regulations;
Excellent communication skills with both Clients & Contractors;
Ability to work independently as well as run a small team;
Ability to run projects from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion;
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential

Primary duties will include:

Production of tender and construction packages – drawings, schedules and specifications;
Managing tender processes and coordinating work by external consultants;
Site inspections – liaison with contractors and subcontractors, site procedures and documentation
