Our client is an experienced design practice established over 30 years ago with a team of circa 60 staff. The firm has 3 UK offices including within Surrey and London as well as international capabilities. The firm is in an exciting stage of development and growth and is seeking to recruit a number of key senior individuals to further accelerate the ambitious growth programme in specific sectors and geographical areas and to plan for succession opportunities as strategic long term appointments.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking candidates to join the Board of the firm and, over the next few years, to succeed the current business owners and to take over the business.
These rare and exciting opportunities will appeal to ambitious Part III architects with over 10 years’ post-qualification experience. Ideally we are seeking candidates working in either the Commercial or Care sectors. We are looking also for a leader for the London office which operates across all sectors.
You will be a dynamic, proactive, self-starter, combining commercial acumen with motivational skills to inspire your teams to deliver to the highest standards. Experienced in pitching and presenting to prospects and securing new clients you will also have the ability to manage projects – particularly at the front-end, planning phases.
Our client will be looking for you to play a role in helping to set the future direction for the firm, to develop the existing client base and identify appropriate new opportunities to grow your sector and reinforce the standing of the practice within the market. As a Director you will drive design quality and production efficiency, providing strong and clear leadership to the studio.
