JTP is an award winning, international placemaking practice of architects and masterplanners with our main studios in London and Edinburgh and satellite offices in Bath and Hangzhou.

We undertake projects at every scale, from masterplanning cities and towns to the design and regeneration of residential-led, mixed-use neighbourhoods, streets and also individual buildings.

We are recruiting for a Part I Architectural Assistant to support our Senior Urban Designer located at The Guild; a creative co-working hub in Bath’s city centre.

In this role, you will assist on a broad range of bids and projects developing feasibility studies, concept and detailed designs for major outline and detailed planning applications.

Applicants must demonstrate excellent design and graphic communication skills. An interest in placemaking and urban design as well as architecture is important.  A good understanding of design software packages e.g. CAD, Revit, SketchUp, Creative Suite is highly advantageous.

You will be exposed to a range of business and practical issues whilst working on a variety of architectural and urban design projects.
