SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN

We are a small expanding practice based on the borders of Hertfordshire and Essex, working on residential and commercial projects ranging from extensions to new build dwellings, conversions and larger housing developments.

We are looking for an enthusiastic architectural/design technician with at least 15 to 20 years experience in design and project management to work on our housing development projects. The candidate should be a hardworking, self-motivated individual, able to work independently and also supervise a small project team when required in the production of planning and building regulation drawings for housing developers. The right candidate should be proficient in liaising with our extensive client base but also Planning Officers and consultants to make sure that our projects run smoothly. 

Essential requirements include:

Excellent AutoCAD skills.
Experience in producing detailed building regulation drawings and full understanding of the building regulation requirements.
Experience in liaising with developer clients, planning officers and consultants.
Excellent written and spoken English.
