A small and friendly practice based in Hoxton, with a potential for career progression and the opportunity to complete your Part III qualification.

Established in 2010, the company consists of 3 team members and have an excellent reputation for their design quality and understanding of bio-climatic and sustainable architecture. The practice currently has an eclectic portfolio with projects across a range of sectors such as residential, commercial, community, public, arts and culture. Their projects are typically located within London and the South East of England, with their core sector being housing. These consist of small to medium sized developments with projects ranging in values between £300,000 – £7million.

Due to an increase in workload and winning some exciting housing projects, the practice is now looking for two, Part II Architectural Assistants to join them on a permanent basis and assist them as they grow.

Role & Responsibilities

Working within a small team of 3, you will be working closely alongside the Project Architect and Director, on a 26 unit housing scheme based in London. You will be working through a variety of RIBA stages from initial design all the way through to completion, and will be given the opportunity to work both in the office and on site.

Required Skills & Experience

  • RIBA Part II qualified or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience, post part II qualification
  • Experience working within the housing sector is essential
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is imperative
  • Experience of all RIBA stages
  • Exceptional design skills
  • Fantastic modelling, presentation and Sketchup skills
  • Experience using Revit would be highly beneficial, but training can be provided
  • A confident attitude and able to hit the ground running
  • Excellent written and spoken English language

This role would suit a candidate who is looking to progress in their career and gain their Part III qualification.

Salary & Package

You will be offered a generous salary of between £25,000 to £32,000 per annum depending on experience. In addition to this you will receive a company pension and a discretionary bonus.
