Alastair Coey Architects specialises in conservation architecture and in all aspects of the care and protection of the historic environment. We are based in Belfast and accredited by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland as a Grade 1 Conservation Practice. We work throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland for a wide range of clients including public bodies such as Historic England, local authorities and The National Trust and private owners of listed buildings. We wish to employ an Architect, who wishes to pursue a career in architectural conservation.
The Architect should preferably have conservation experience and qualifications but, if not, should be able to convincingly demonstrate an enthusiasm and commitment to develop their career in conservation. If the successful candidate does not hold appropriate qualifications, they will be expected to engage in additional training with an ultimate aim of achieving accreditation at RIBA Specialist Conservation Architect level or RIAI Grade One Conservation Architect.
