With offices across the UK, this Multi-disciplinary practice has a position for an Architect to join their friendly team in the Reading office.

The office and position combines the opportunity work and manage projects with award winning retail names and the close knit support of a smaller office and team.

The company offers a range of services including Architecture, Interior Design, space planning, graphics, perspectives, 3D visualisation and project management for large and smaller schemes. They have offices across the country and over 100 members of staff, This national architectural practice has a strong reputation in the commercial field undertaking commissions throughout the UK on all building types via 5 strategically located regional offices.

They have a multiple award winning portfolio which includes retail, residential, leisure, offices, industrial, distribution, private/affordable social housing, stadia, refurbishment, conservation of listed buildings and regeneration schemes and now due to continued growth of the Reading office they are now looking for an Architect to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will involve you to work on concept and planning stages of a range of commercial projects. Candidates will also be developed to take responsibility of the account of a major retail client whilst working closely with the Senior Architects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Part III qualified or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years UK project experience
  • Sound knowledge of current UK legislation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to produce working drawings to a high standard
  • Revit experience is desirable but not essential
  • Good communication skills written and verbal are essential.
  • A strong work ethic
  • Experience with UK commercial based projects would be highly advantages.

Salary & Package

The successful candidate will be offered a salary between £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience.
