An opportunity for career growth within an innovative, BIM oriented Parisian architectural firm who are successfully breaking the London market. The firm are collaborating with reputable companies, including the likes of Arup, on prominent and notable projects from their offices in Marylebone.
Originally established in 2006 in Paris and currently a team of 20, the company have built a solid portfolio of projects in addition to concrete client relationships; and having made a promising start to their London venture, they have put a growth plan in place which will see their UK office develop from a team of 1 to a team of 4 within the next 12-18 months.
Their work spreads across a broad spectrum of project sectors and includes offices, buildings, data centres, hotels, shops and healthcare. In Paris they are recognised as an industry leader for their experience in data centres, and the firm is heavily BIM oriented. This emphasis around BIM is something they look to implement in to their London office.
With a strong pipeline of UK projects and having recently employed a Revit Technician, they are now looking to employ an Architect on a full time, permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
An Architect is required to join the practice on a permanent basis and initially work on a gym and school sports facility in London. The successful candidate will be required to work autonomously to begin with, on a variety of RIBA stages and will include liaising with clients and third parties.
The candidate will be based out of their shared London offices with the Director, who travels between Paris and London.
Required Skills & Experience
- Qualified at RIBA Part II/Part III level with a minimum of 4 years UK experience post Part II
- Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of UK building regulations and planning standards
- A good degree of Revit knowledge and previous experience of using the software on live projects
- The ability to work individually on various RIBA stages of work with little to no guidance
- An enthusiastic and ambitious attitude that will contribute to the practice’s growth
Salary & Package
The successful applicant will be offered a salary between £38,000 – £45,000 depending on experience.
Flexible working hours may be available subject to prior conversation, as is home-based working.
Currently working out of a shared, easily accessible office in Marylebone, the Director is able to offer the right candidate the opportunity to help the practice develop and grow in to their own over the next 12-18 months, and become a fully integrated part of their London story.
