A RIBA chartered practice based in York have an urgent requirement for a Newly Qualified Architect to join their successful Architectural practice. You will be working alongside driven Architects, Technologists and Designers to design and deliver exceptional projects from planning through to the development.

Our client is a fast growing and ambitious practice whose project focus is across a variety of Commercial, Retail, Conservation, Education, Health care, Residential, Hospitality and Leisure sectors.

Within this role of a Newly Qualified Architect you will gain an appealing salary, company benefits and genuine career mentoring and progression.

To be a Newly Qualified Architect you must:

  • Be Part 3 qualified.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Have 2+ years' experience in practice and a full understanding of the UK building regulations.
  • Have on-site experience and building control submission experience of the UK system.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD would be desirable.
  • Have the initiative to work successfully as an individual but also able to work as a team.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Whilst working as a Newly Qualified Architect you will be:

  • Liaising with other clients, contractors and other work professionals.
  • Ensuring that all deadlines are met to a high standard of work.
  • Working predominantly in key residential sectors.
  • Responsible for project management.
