NW England Chartered Architects practice is seeking a Studio Manager / Business Development Manager and experienced Senior Architect to join its team.
We are a long established Chartered Architects practice. We have a wide variety of interesting projects.
Job Role:
The Studio Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective and smooth running of a studio of 10, providing a high level of service internally and externally and assist in the development of the business. Building relationships with employees, clients, consultants and other regular contacts. This role includes dealing with clients, consultants, overseeing co-ordination of project programmes, overseeing QA standards, H & S and HR.
Responsibilities
Answering and responding to new enquiries and tenders
Managing the Studio
Providing the team with administrative support
Overseeing business development.
Requirements
An experienced Senior Architect with a minimum of two years’ previous practice management experience, within a creative design studio.
a genuine and developed interest in architecture and design.
First point of contact for enquiries - via telephone, email and in the office.
Confidence in talking to new customers and clients on the phone.
Polite & professional approach.
Be able to work independently and use initiative, multi-task and prioritise
Strong organisational and numerical skills
Positive, enthusiastic attitude towards the promotion and development of the practice.
Must be fully conversant with all the usual office software packages and Mac computers, and associated software an advantage.
