Senior Architectural Technologist
An award-winning, global Architecture studio is looking to add a Senior Architectural Technologist to their growing team.
Experts in the Residential and Healthcare and commercial sectors you will work on a vast portfolio of large-scale projects, both in the UK and International market.
You will be fully responsible for the delivery of technical drawing packages working directly with the architectural design team.
To have experience in working for a House builder would be an advantage.
Part of your responsibilities will also include implementing the relevant project plans for BIM delivery and ensuring all items of the project are delivered on time. So if you are technically driven, Revit and have a passion for BIM this is the role for you.
Job Description • Assist Lead architect on all design development, responsible for the technological design from concept to completion.
Responsible for all technical detailing of the project (demonstrable experience in the delivery of technical drawing packages)
Assist Lead architect with all material and construction systems to meet original design intent • Writing and collating NBS specification with Lead architect
Coordinating with sub consultants with all drawing packages
Review all drawings packages ensuring drawings and documentation carefully coordinated with sub consultants prior to submissions
Responsible for meeting with local authorities and expediently processing submissions with any problems alerted to Senior Management Skills Necessary
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Recognised Degree in Architectural Technology
Registered with CIAT • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in an Architectural Practice
Full proficiency using Revit and Navisworks
UK experience essential (All RIBA work stages) with in-depth understanding of UK Building Regulations and current BIM Standards.
Specialist in RIBA 3-5
Experience in large-scale projects is highly advantageous
NBS spec writing and experience using NBS create
Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate to all team members About the Company
