Foundation Representative, Wales
£36,900 – £47,150 per annum, dependent upon experience and qualifications

The Foundation Representative, Wales promotes the urban, architectural and community building vision of the Prince’s Foundation, and contributes to delivering the overall mission of the charity in Wales. This is a programme manager level role that manages individual projects and an expanding portfolio of activities. The Foundation Representative ensures that advisory services and projects are planned, initiated and delivered with a holistic vision of sustainable development. The incumbent plays a key role in business development and securing new opportunities.
This role requires an effective team leader who can manage and motivate virtual teams, providing programmatic direction to in-house and external resources. Working collaboratively with other teams within the broader Prince’s charities is essential. This role requires attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The essential skills, knowledge and experience required include:
Relevant professional qualification and extensive professional experience, including business development and relationship management, in a property planning and development environment or in an urban planning and architectural practice setting.
Demonstrable understanding and commitment to the principles of the Prince’s Foundation.
Ability to draw on an existing network of contacts in Wales and understanding of Welsh Assembly and local authority politics.
Experience of operating effectively and confidentially in politically sensitive arenas and across different cultures / with multi-cultural teams.
1st Interviews are likely to be held mid April.
