Senior Business Developer

The OMA Business Development (BD) team located in Rotterdam is responsible for actively developing, acquiring and assessing potential projects, conducting market research and following up on market opportunities worldwide. The BD team has an immediate need for a Senior Business Developer. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will support the Head of BD in proactively researching and developing new business opportunities for the office
  • You will work with OMA Team Leaders and the Business Development Manager on management of potential new business (e.g. competition, RFP, direct assignements)
  • You will be able to manage and asses request for proposal, related  scope, and external partner selection and management
  • You will support tender assessment and management
  • You will report on and maintain records of business development activities and support the BD team in reporting on acquisitions in process

Requirements:

  • Degree in Architecture with design and construction process knowledge
  • 5 years+ of proven professional experience in the creative industry, architecture, and project development
  • Native English Speaker
  • Highly developed skills in communication with internal departments, external consultants and clients
  • Hands-on approach
  • Ability to work in a complex international environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of OMA’s work 
  • Excellent MS Office and Adobe Suite skills
